Archival of Internal Transactions

The archival of transactions processed in the workflow in the application is done automatically according to the settings defined in the Archive > Archiving Delays screen. The Automatic Archival is executed at the time set in the archive settings, usually overnight. If there are many transactions to be archived, this may affect the application response times.

When transactions are archived, they are removed both from the Process Transaction screen and the workflow related screens. The information for archived transactions can be reviewed using the archive search. Using the archive search, it is possible to search any transactions, including those still in workflow.

Archival of Materials Produced by Integrated Products

The materials sent to the archive's source folder by integrated products (Basware Banking) are also archived according to the time set with the Archive > Archive Settings function. Materials that can be archived from Banking are listed under the section titled Transaction Types for Integrated Products in the Archive.

Archival of External Materials

It is also possible to archive material that is not otherwise processed with application (for example Balance Sheet, Income Statement etc). For each transaction type, a specifying type has to be created on the Archive Transaction Types screen. Materials can be archived manually by selecting Archive > Archiving. Archiving can also be timed by defining timing information in the Archiving > Archive > Timings window.
