Limiting the Archive Search with Transaction Type Based Settings

Enter your search criteria on the General Criteria tab.
- Company
- Organization unit
- Transaction Type. After selecting the Transaction Type you can define more detailed Transaction Type specific search criteria on the Transaction Type tab.Note: Transaction Type is displayed in the drop-down menu only if there is archived information and the user has the right to search for this transaction type data. If a company name is displayed in brackets after the transaction type name, then this transaction type has only been defined for the named company.
- Voucher Date
- Project. Not in use.
- Comment. Transactions can be searched by comments entered by the user.Note: A comment or a part of it can be used to search by the Comment field. Wild characters cannot be used.

Go to the Transaction Type tab.
Enter your search criteria into the text fields, or click the
button and select the desired search criteria. You can search for search terms by entering either the whole term or a part of it in the search field of the browsing window. Wildcards cannot be used in the field; instead, enter a part of the retrievable data in the field.
Note: The transaction type must be defined on the General Criteria tab to be able to select the Transaction Type tab.Tip: When searching the archive for purchase invoices, the Supplier field on the Transaction type tab is used for entering data.- If you enter the supplier's name or part of the name and the character *, the archive search searches purchase invoices (according to other search criteria) for transactions where the supplier name on the purchase invoice contains the relevant character string.
- If the search term has been entered into the supplier field and the supplier browser view is clicked on, suppliers are searched and viewed using these search terms. The suppliers corresponding to the search parameters are displayed on the screen which is opened.
- Once the search terms have been defined, click Retrieve Transactions.
