Limiting the Archive Search with Posting Data

- Enter your search criteria on the General Criteria and Transaction Type tab. For additional information, see Limiting the Archive Search with Transaction Type Based Settings.

Go to the Posting tab where the possible search criteria include the ledger account, posting dimensions and tax code. Define the desired search criteria by entering the desired value in the relevant field or by clicking the
button. You can search by entering either the whole term or a part of it in the search field of the browsing window. Wildcards cannot be used in the field; instead, enter a part of the retrievable data in the field. Several search criteria can be given for the search term, for example two cost centers. Several search criteria can be chosen in the browsing view with selection boxes or by entering the values in relevant fields in sequence so that they are separated by a semicolon ; or a comma ,
Note: The Posting tab can be selected if Purchase Invoices, Travel and Expense Claims, Travel Plans, Contracts or Requisitions has been defined as the transaction type on the General Criteria tab. - Once the search terms have been defined, click Retrieve Transactions. The search results will be shown in the Search Result window.
