Logon Settings
Location:
On the Logon Settings screen, you can configure the security of the application and its passwords. If user names and passwords are used for logon authentication, it is important to ensure password security.
A user has access to the Logon Settings if the Logon Settings access right is enabled in the user profile and the Users function provides the user name with system-level company rights and the Administrator user level.
Settings
The Settings section specifies the minimum and maximum values for the password validity period (in days) and the number of old passwords in memory.
ThePassword Validity Period must be between 1 and 9,999 days. In the first entry field, enter the minimum time the password will be in use, which means that you cannot change the password before the current password has been in use at least as long as specified in the setting. Enter the maximum time a password can be used in the second entry field.
The values allowed for the Old Passwords In Memory field are 3-99. The application remembers the old passwords for each user.
Additional Options
In the Additional Options section, you can enable the Strong Password option and set a minimum length for strong passwords.
TheStrong Password cannot be the same as the user's user name, first name or last name, and it cannot contain the user name or the user's first or last name. A strong (secure) password should include:
