User Creation

You can manage user names in the following screen: Settings > User Data > Users. For instructions on setting up user names, see Users.

Locking User Names

Normal user names (not cmsadmin) will be locked after three consecutive failed login attempts, and the User name locked check box in the Users window will be checked. The user name is locked and cannot be used to enter the application, until a user with rights to the Users window removes the check mark from the User name Locked check box.

Cmsadmin user name, which is not displayed in the Users window, is also locked after three subsequent failed login attempts. However, unlike for normal users, only a five-minute time lock is enabled. If a cmsadmin tries to login again during the time lock, the time on it starts over again, i.e. the cmsadmin remains locked for another five minutes from the login attempt. If after the time lock a user attempts to login with a wrong password – even only once – the username is locked for five minutes.

User Language

The user interface of the application is displayed in accordance with the language that has been saved in the user data of the logged in user. The user can change the language setting by selecting Settings > User Language in the menu.

Login Page Language

The language of the login page is determined by the login address used. If the login page opens in an incorrect language, the user can change it to the desired language via the links at the bottom of the page. Languages that have been added to the program license may be selected. In addition to the login page, the language selection of the login page affects the Forgot your password? function.

It is possible to configure the login page to open in the language chosen by the user. This is done by defining the desired language in the login address for the application:

  • Finnish:.../Login.aspx?ln=fin
  • English:.../Login.aspx?ln=eng
  • Swedish:.../Login.aspx?ln=swe
  • Norwegian:.../Login.aspx?ln=no
  • Danish:.../Login.aspx?ln=da
  • German:.../Login.aspx?ln=de
  • Dutch:.../Login.aspx?ln=nl
  • French:.../Login.aspx?ln=fr

The login address of the application that contains the correct language definition may, for example, be stored in the Favorites list of the Web browser.
