Import Payment Feedback
Location:
The Import Payment Feedback function enables importing payment feedback material generated by external payment software into the application and assigning the feedback to purchase invoices, travel plans, and travel and expense claims that have been transferred to payment. It is only possible to assign payment feedback to transactions in flow. It is not possible to add payment feedback to archived transactions.
Payment feedback can be imported into the application via an interface manually or according to a schedule. The feedback is assigned to a transaction by using its unique Transaction identifier.
- Implementing the Payment Feedback function requires changes to the interfaces between the application and the payment software.
- Each transaction identifier must be transferred from the application to the payment software via the purchase invoice and travel claim interface.
- The payment feedback material generated by the payment software must include the identifier and payment date for each transaction. The payment feedback can also contain a free-form comment.
Information about Payment Feedback is displayed in the transaction workflow. The workflow columns display the following information:
- Processing Time = The date and time of importing the payment feedback
- Processor = Name of the application
- Processing Step = Paid
- Comment = Payment date on the payment feedback, displayed in the format "Paid dd.mm.ccyy". Any optional description in the payment feedback is added after the payment date as part of the comment.
For more information on specifying an interface, for example, see Importing Basic Data into the Application.
