Archive Search from Other Applications

Open Archive Interface enables other applications to make searches to archived transactions.

By pressing the Basware Banking Invoice button, you can pull the invoice corresponding to the payment and any related receipts and processing information from the archive. The application can be expanded so that the invoice will open also from payments of an external system.

You can drill into purchase invoices to make searches from the following functions in Basware Banking:

• from the Material Browsing screen in the Confirmation function
• from an account statement transaction on the View Account Statement screen
• from the Transfer Log Itemization window

If purchase invoices have been transferred as payment transactions in Basware Banking, you can also use the Open Archive Interface to search from the Enter Payment screen and Select for Payment selection of Basware Banking.

Using the Open Archive Interface, you can also use an advance transaction in the Cash Planning section of the Basware Finance program to review the purchase invoice in workflow and its information.
